White Tea Silver Dragon Pearl from Bai Mu Dan

The pearl is rolled from whole Bai Mu Dan tea leaves, whose name translates as “White Peony.” White Peony consists of one bud and two small leaves, plucked in early spring. The leaf is covered with dense white fuzz on one side, while the other side is smooth and has a deep green color. According to tradition, this tea must be harvested between March 15 and April 10, during dry weather, with no dew present.

Processing:

The Bai Mu Dan white tea leaf is rolled into a pearl, preventing oxidation. This process allows the tea to be aged for many years, developing distinct honey and nutty notes.

Taste Profile:

White Peony tea features hints of oak, nuts, and vanilla, while the infusion has the color of apricot jam. It has a delicate aroma and a fresh, mild, and sweet taste, free from bitterness. The brewed tea has a very pale green or golden hue.

Health Benefits:

Silver Dragon Pearl from Bai Mu Dan retains all the valuable microelements and vitamins naturally present in the tea. Extremely light and delicate, it clears the mind, soothes, and sets the mood for philosophical reflection.
