White Tea Da Yi Bai Cha (2025) – a masterfully crafted white tea with an intensely sweet and herbal aroma. Its yellowish, glistening infusion enchants with a complex fruity fragrance and a delicate hint of herbs. On the palate, it is vivid, sweet, and subtly tangy, completely free from bitterness or astringency.
This is one of the few new white teas that, thanks to its exceptional quality, has quickly gained popularity not only in China but also worldwide. Known as a “white tea processed with new technology,” it comes from a modern cultivar called Fu Ding Da Bai, developed in 1968 in the Fu Ding region. Its uniqueness lies in the additional step of gentle shaping during processing, which slightly bruises the leaves and allows for greater oxidation before drying—giving the infusion its distinctive character and depth of flavor.
With its unique appearance and fruity aroma, this tea—often referred to as the “White Snow Dragon”—is frequently compared to the renowned Taiwanese oolong Dong Fang Mei Ren, highlighting its high flavor potential and growing reputation.
