Classic Shu Pu-Erh Tea – Traditional Large-Leaf Fermented Tea
Shu Pu-Erh Tea (Classic) – a traditional ripe Pu-Erh tea made from large leaves, originating from Yunnan Province, China – a region renowned for its exceptional Pu-Erh teas.
The dry leaves are large, dark brown, slightly glossy, and oily to the touch. The infusion has a deep reddish color. The flavor is fresh and bold, with a pleasant, mildly sweet aftertaste reminiscent of walnut.
Net weight: 50–100 g
Brewing method: 5–7 g of tea per 100 ml of water at 90–100°C. Suitable for multiple infusions – at least 4–5 times. Before the first brew, rinse the leaves with boiling water and discard the rinse to awaken the tea.
Best brewed in: a mug with lid and strainer, teapot, gaiwan, glass, or by simmering in a 0.5-liter teapot
