Shu Pu-Erh Yi Wu (250 g) is a tightly compressed dark tea brick produced in Yunnan Province, China, in 2003.
It is the only Shu Pu-Erh in our collection made from large tea leaves, giving the infusion a uniquely smooth, juicy, and well-balanced profile.
The taste is dominated by smoky plum with layers of fruity caramel that deepen from the very first infusion.
The liquor is deep, dark, and brilliantly clear, maintaining its intensity throughout multiple brews. Its thick, oily texture leaves a long, pleasant aftertaste with each steeping.
Perfect for mindful, multi-brew Gong Fu Cha sessions, where the tea unfolds gradually, cup after cup.
Brewing guidelines:
Use 5–7 g of tea per 100 ml of water at 90–100 °C.
Rinse the leaves once with boiling water to awaken them, then brew 4–5 times, slightly extending each infusion.
Best brewed in:
gaiwan, teapot, cup with infuser, or 0.5 L kettle.
Harvest: 2003
Origin: China, Yunnan Province
Net Weight: 25–250 g
