Sheng Pu-Erh Tea from Wuliang Shan Mountains, 400g (2012) – Pressed Raw Pu-Erh Cake

Compressed green (sheng) pu-erh tea leaves from the spring 2012 harvest, produced in the Wuliang Shan region of Yunnan Province. This traditional "cake" (bing cha) form is ideal for long-term aging and storage.

The infusion has a deep yellow hue and a dense structure, with an intense fruity aroma. The taste is rich and fruity, with a subtly sweet finish. A bright and balanced Sheng Pu-Erh with a gentle character and long aging potential.

Net weight: 50g–400g

Brewing instructions: 8 g of tea per 100 ml of water at 95–100°C. Minimum infusions: 5–7 times.

Best brewed in: mug with infuser and lid, teapot, or gaiwan

Harvest: Spring 2012
