Tie Luo Han (Iron Arhat) Oolong Tea – one of the four legendary cliff oolongs from the Wuyi Mountains, known since the Qing dynasty. Considered a benchmark tea from the region, prized for its depth, layered flavor, and traditional craftsmanship.

This tea is harvested near the protected Wuyi Shan reserve, on Mount Huanggang, and classified as a semi-cliff tea. It is crafted at Lao Chen Cha Chang, a local tea factory run by a fourth-generation tea master who upholds the region's artisanal methods.

Late autumn shoots from Tie Luo Han bushes are selected and processed using the classic technique of multiple twisting and long, slow roasting over charcoal. The dry leaves are curved, dark brown with bronze tones, and have a rich, spicy aroma. The infusion is clear, with a golden-almond hue.

The flavor is deep and expressive, with toasty notes reminiscent of baked bread crust, balanced by the minerality typical of cliff-grown oolongs. Tie Luo Han delivers a roasted profile wrapped in the elegance of mature Wuyi oolong character.
