Huang Zhi Xiang Phoenix Dan Cong Oolong Tea – "Lonely Bushes from the Phoenix Mountains with Yellow Twig Aroma"
A distinguished oolong from the Phoenix Mountains (Fenghuang Shan) in Guangdong Province, China. The name Huang Zhi Xiang translates as “Yellow Twig Fragrance” and refers to the unique, naturally floral-aromatic cultivar used in this tea.

Region of cultivation – Guangdong Province.
As with other oolongs from Guangdong, Huang Zhi Xiang Dan Cong received its name based on the aroma of the finished infusion. Behind the poetic name “yellow twig,” the Chinese recognize the scent of fragrant gardenia.
This cultivar has been grown in the Phoenix Mountains of Guangdong for over 200 years. In 2000, it was granted provincial status – meaning the Chinese take particular pride in this tea.
Aroma: flowers and honey – harmony and delight.
Infusion: clear, wheat-toned.
Taste and aftertaste: a combination of honeyed sweetness, peach, cozy pudding, and a hint of astringency. Prolonged sweet aftertaste.

Huang Zhi Xiang Phoenix Dan Cong awakens and refreshes – a natural energizer.
It’s a record-holder in antioxidant content. It slows the aging process, prevents cholesterol plaque formation, helps avoid strokes and heart attacks, and accelerates metabolism.
If one can resist the urge to satisfy their appetite immediately after drinking this tea, a few kilograms of excess weight may disappear within a month.
Huang Zhi Xiang Phoenix Dan Cong is also considered a natural aphrodisiac.

Brewing: 7–8 g of tea, 100 ml of water at 90–100 °C. Minimum number of infusions: 5–6.
Before brewing, rinse the leaves with boiling water and discard the rinse to awaken the leaf.
Best brewed in: teapot, gaiwan – do not brew in a mug or teacup.
