Hei Cha Dark Tea (100 g) – Compressed Tea Cake from Guangxi

This Hei Cha (dark tea) is traditionally compressed into a 100 g tea cake and comes from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China. Hei Cha is known for its warm, comforting character and deep, rounded flavour shaped by its unique fermentation process.

The infusion is dark and rich, with a smooth profile and naturally sweet undertones. It offers a full, warming taste that is appreciated by tea drinkers who enjoy mature, well-balanced Chinese dark teas.

Hei Cha has a long history in several regions of China, especially in Hunan, Sichuan, and Guangxi, where it remains an important part of local tea culture.

Brewing: Use 5–6 g of tea per 100 ml of water at 90–100°C. Can be infused 6–7 times.

Best brewed in: a porous clay teapot dedicated to dark teas or a gaiwan.
