Hei Cha Black Tea – a dark fermented tea (Hei Cha) originating from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China.

A strong and warming tea with an intense flavor.

Hei Cha, also known as Chinese dark tea, is a unique type of tea with a deep, rich taste profile. Traditionally produced in the provinces of Hunan, Sichuan, and Guangxi Zhuang. The aging process gives it a slightly earthy aroma and dark infusion. In China, it is often enjoyed alongside meals or during long conversations at the tea table.

Net weight: 50–100 g

Brewing method: 5–6 g of tea per 100 ml of water at 90–100°C. Suitable for multiple infusions (at least 6–7 times).

Best brewed in: a porous clay teapot for dark teas or a gaiwan

Harvest year: 2010
